Beschreibung

CD5, also known as Lymphocyte Antigen T1/Leu-1, is a transmembrane glycoprotein involved in regulation of T cell proliferation. CD5 is normally found on T cells as well as on a subset of B cells, but not on the majority of peripheral blood B cells.
Furthermore, T cell malignancies, B cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL)/small lymphocytic lymphoma (SLL) and mantle-cell lymphomas are CD5 positive. This antibody may be helpful in detection of these diseases
