Beschreibung
CD25, also known as IL2RA, is the alpha chain of interleukin 2 receptor. It is a type I transmembrane protein expressed on different cell types including activated T and B cells, some thymocytes, macrophages, myeloid precursors, and oligodendrocytes. Antibody CD25 may be helpful in detection of most B-cell neoplasms, mastocytosis, hairy cell leukemia and chronic inflammatory bowel diseases such as ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease.
