CD1a (Cluster of Differentiation 1a) belongs to the family of major histocompability complex (MHC) and presents antigens after binding to T-cell receptors on natural killer cells. This antibody detects cortical thymocytes, Langerhans' cells and dendritic cells as well as Langerhans' cell histiocytosis and T-lymphoblastic lymphoma/leukemia.
