Beschreibung
CD15 (Cluster of Differentiation 15) is a carbohydrate adhesion molecule (not a protein) that can be expressed on glycoproteins, glycolipids and proteoglycans and that mediates phagocytosis and chemotaxis. This antibody detects Hodgkin's lymphoma, some B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemias, acute lymphoblastic leukemias and most acute non-lymphocytic leukemias. It is a useful marker to distinguish between epithelial mesothelioma and adenocarcinoma.
